Billy's roots are in the Blues. From the early 80's he began playing R&B with an original band he founded - The Late Shift - at many New York City night clubs including CBGB's, Kenny's Castaways, The Bitter End and Xenons. When not playing with his regular band Square Feeet, he can be found sitting in with many of the Blues Bands/Musicians of Westchester - at venues such as Lucy's, Foly's, Jackson Wheeler and other small cafes and clubs in the area, honing his skills with a variety of musicians. Billy has built himself a reputation as a formidable and proficient bassist. His most recent project of 2009 is "If You Don't Know Jack" - an acoustic tribute to his most influential group of the 70's HOT TUNA - and shows are currently being booked. Blending his soulful talents with the driving rock songs performed by Square Feeet his bass lines fill the musical landscape of the band with the essential bottom rhythms crucial for their sound.
